Abstract Smart cities are an integral part of the sustainable development ideology of society. The Russian concept «Smart City 2030» defines priorities, goals and objectives of public administration and development in the field of digital technologies in Moscow until 2030. Research objective is to develop an environmental information system elements that allows monitoring the state of urbanized ecosystems. A modern «smart» metropolis is, first of all, a safe city. Its inhabitants should live in a comfortable ecological and social environment, the parameters of which correspond to international life quality standards. Constant monitoring of a huge number of indicators is carried out by information systems that provide state and municipal authorities with objective information for making effective decisions. The article provides statistical and regression analysis of data on the functioning of a set of industrial facilities that negatively affect the environmental situation in the metropolis. A mathematical model has been developed to predict the negative impact on ecosystems. © ©2020 IEEE.
