Abstract The three primary focuses of this research are the significance of IoT information technology, the use of 6G wireless connections, and advancements in smart cities. Using energy-efficient 6G IoT devices, smart cities may be upgraded to super-smart cities. There will soon be more than fifty billion Internet of Things devices, but little is known about the 6G wireless connection technology, which uses less energy. The introduction of wireless networks has altered the way people connect and communicate with one another. Cellular technology's future generation, 6G, has the potential to expedite this shift. The future of 6G wireless networks will be impacted by a number of major technologies, including terahertz communication, optical interactions, ultra-massive MIMO, AI, quantum information technology, block chain, and intelligent reflection surface, which we summarise in this study(l). © 2023 IEEE.
