Abstract Ecological occurrences have an important influence on our everyday lives. These comprise fluctuations disturbing life sources such as air, water, radiation, waste management, weather observation, and other environmental factors for minimizing global warming. The term 'smart environment' is defined as equipment that offers several services and resolutions for several ecological applications. This paper proposes ecological observation using sensors and IoT to protect against global warming in wireless sensor networks (WSN). Smart environment sensors combined with the Internet of Things (IoT) can offer a new idea for tracking, recognizing, and observing objects. This can offer possible assistance leading to attaining a green world and a maintainable routine. IoT permits ecological sensors to attach with other systems via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to forward huge quantities of information to the network and can permit us to accept a better environment and discover appropriate solutions for ecological issues nowadays. In this paper, a brief origin of situation regions of study by IoT technology and a deliberate explanation behind applying IoT in the region of ecological revisions will be offered. © 2023 IEEE.
