Abstract The integration of AI in education today allows for efficient management of resources, thereby promoting sustainability in the education sector by reducing environmental impacts. AI-powered educational platforms provide personalized learning experiences that meet the unique needs of each student, thereby reducing the unnecessary use of resources associated with traditional uniform teaching approaches. By examining student performance data, learning styles, and preferences, AI guarantees effective use of learning resources, including classroom space and content, and promotes sustainability in educational institutions. The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform education is significant. Sustainable education focuses on nurturing environmental responsibility in students and raising awareness about global and local environmental conservation. The use of AI in sustainable education encompasses personalized instruction, curriculum development, student progress assessment, resource distribution, and environmental monitoring. © 2025, IGI Global.
