Abstract Traditional parking approaches frequently lead to failures like Traffic slowdown provoked by drivers looking for vacant spaces and ineffective income management for parking operators. The government has made preference building smart urban landscapes. Vehicle parking is required in each urban center. Smart Parking System intends to combat these obstacles by providing live data on parking existence, enhancing parking space and offering easy payment methods. The objective of this paper is to provide a complete examination, comparison, and in-depth analysis of smart parking systems. This study will assist researchers recognize parts demanding deep exploration and urban planners to incorporate smart parking systems into smart city schemes. This research evaluates diverse smart parking techniques that are being executed is analyzed and differentiation is done between distinct techniques. © 2024 IEEE.
