Abstract Internet of Things (IoT) is the intercommunication of various objects in the real-time scenario using networking technologies. The IoT has evolutionally in various sectors such as smart environment, smart city, smart home, agriculture field, and healthcare systems. The objective of the system proposed is to develop a best mathematical model for health management system for rural people. Through medical equipment using Internet of Things, patient’s parameters can be stored, transmitted, and analyzed. The Internet of Things is used in the medical field to bring solutions for patient monitoring and reduce the trade-off between patient outcome and health management system. The idea is designed using IoT, so that the data can be sent to an inaccessible server from where it can be measured. The mathematical modeling of health management system is done with predictive modeling which is better than other techniques, and the performance measure is evaluated. The significant challenge in implementing the system is the portability, low cost, and user-friendliness. The Internet has become the vital part of one’s life; in order to take this to the next step, the Internet has been connected to medical kits. Using smart technologies, all devices are connected to one another to create a worldwide ubiquitous network. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
