Abstract This article discusses the concept of smart systems used in smart cities and maintaining sustainability. It also shows the relationship between the development factors of the transport network. It also shows examples of cities, which cities have such systems, and their techniques. However, a series of studies show that the transportation system in most cities and urban areas is not sustainable. In fact, some of these transport systems are considered a threat to the environmental, social, and economic aspects of future generations. It is the integration of technology and sustainability towards an intelligent transportation system in urban cities. Here we can also explain about the role of AI & ML to build the sustainable transport system in cities. The transportation technology also used big data to manage traffic controls, improving our vehicle work by means of predictive analytics. We can predict for Make adjustments to our routes, anticipate potential delays, and lower the cost of transferring goods. Here we talking about the what are the ideas and what technologies is used for a comfortable transport system with maintaining sustainability. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
