Abstract A novel approach for Smart Mobility Roadmap in Smart Cities is presented. The documents related to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in smart cities of three internationals organizations was studied, and the evolution from an existing city to a Smart and sustainable city was considering. The main result is a set of 25 KPIs for smart mobility based on a comparison between KPIs proposed by International Telecommunications Union (ITU), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Colombia ITC Ministry (MINTIC). It is important to highlight that the roadmap highly depends on the city budget, the number of KPIs considered, policy priorities, and people adoption. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
