Abstract The main purpose of this work is to present the development and implementation of a demonstration model of smart parking system that uses energy efficient LoRa-based transmission module, autonomous power supply and the ability for integration into a scalable smart platform for intelligent provision, monitoring, visualization and management of parking services in large cities with complex urban environment. © 2020 IEEE.
