Abstract A Smart City is a place where people could live in a better way because the city has services and infrastructure to improve quality of life of their citizens. A Smart City must develop many aspects, one of them is urban mobility. In this paper we present a Smart Car Parking System for an Academic Campus in Mexico City. The car parking has the next features, can display a signal if a slot is free, a user can reserve a slot using a cellular app, a QR system access to the car parking. The system uses a LoRA network to communicate information. Each slot has a sensor managed for an Arduino SBC, Arduino uses LoRA to send data to a Raspberry computer that works as server. The Raspberry server allows user's connections from cellular phones to check availability at the parking car o to make reservations. © 2023 Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions.
