Abstract With a vision to harness the next generation of cutting-edge drones and IoT (Internet of Things) technology to collect garbage from Unexplored Tourist Destinations (UTD) of Himachal Pradesh. The increasing maturity Drone coupled with IoT technologies has enormous potential for future revolution. These awe-inspiring hill sights attract tourists, yet they remain untouched due to the non-availability of road connectivity and are often out of the control of Municipalities. These locations fall mostly in green zones from where the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) usually called the drone could easily be used to transport rubbish bags from the sky to a nearby city garbage processing and disposal site. The objective is to propose an innovative and effective approach to waste management for protecting such breathtaking sights without polluting them while also ensuring a healthy, clean, and green ecosystem. Results show, that the state-of-the-art approach saves time (85%) and distance (86%). Further, it is environmentally friendly with no CO2 emissions. Moreover, the proposed method is also economical and efficient. This article enables us to do difficult tasks such as permitting a clean and green environment while also conserving key components of life. © 2022 IEEE.
