| Abstract | This bibliometric review examines 155 academic publications from 2008 to 2023 as it embarks on a thorough investigation of Green Communications. The study examines publishing patterns, well-known journals, notable authors, institutions, and countries. The findings give academics helpful information that helps them choose reputable journals for publication and summarise the primary research topics and expanding discipline. The green communication field includes policy and regulatory frameworks, cross-disciplinary collaborations and developing protocols for emerging technologies, which should be further explored in future research. Future research should also consider ideas like renewable energy integration, green data centres, green awareness and sustainable smart cities. © 2023 IEEE. |
