Abstract	The notion of a smart city has recently gained momentum around the world. Citizens of smart cities can get more advantages and improve the quality of their lives. They can communicate with their city in an automatic way. Modern smart cities present real possibilities for solving current issues of human life. Modern technology has the ability to collect huge amounts of information from a wide range of sources, transfer it in a safe way and process it in a smart and effective method. One of the aspects of a smart city is smart parking. This paper proposes algorithms to guarantee the even distribution of people in parking lots in order to avoid a crowd of people in any one parking lot. © 2022 IEEE.
