Abstract	The article is devoted to the review of modern solutions for creating intelligent transport management systems, which are an integral part of the infrastructure of 'smart' cities. The paper considers the development of intelligent transport systems in the context of the formation of modern smart cities and the mutually beneficial use of advanced technologies for the benefit of society and the state. The most important advantages of smart transport systems and the challenges faced by society and authorities when implementing them in everyday life are identified. The most promising technologies for improving the transport infrastructure of smart cities are defined. © 2020 IEEE.
