Abstract The increasing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) brings challenges to electric charging and energy management. To solve these problems, IOT-based hybrid electric vehicle charging systems have innovative solutions that connect renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy to the always-on grid. This combination ensures that electric vehicles can be charged stably, reducing dependence on fossil fuels while using clean energy. The system can optimize energy use by integrating renewable energy into the grid and provide better and more environmentally friendly solutions for charging electric vehicles. Sensors, smart meters, and communication networks are used to track energy, consumption, and billing. This real-time data balance ensured that the electric vehicle is always powered by the most efficient source available. In addition, users can track the vehicle's inflation status via their mobile phone, providing greater convenience and control. The IOT framework also helps with predictive maintenance, ensuring the reliability and durability of infrastructure payments. It can also improve energy efficiency and grid stability. The system contributes to the development of smart cities and green transportation by combining renewable energy with IOT technology. It reduces the environmental impact of EV charging and contributes to a sustainable, low-carbon future, while providing cost-effective, affordable solutions for widespread EV adoption. © 2024 IEEE.
