| Abstract | The integration of social, economic, environmental, and technological factors in smart city infrastructure is vital, as highlighted in numerous literary sources. The COVID-19 pandemic has further emphasized the need for comprehensive, intelligent cities adapting to sudden community mobility restrictions. Our research focuses on the intersection of smart cities and healthcare management, specifically focusing on database management. Examining and identifying the smart city applications that have the most effects on healthcare delivery was the main goal of this research. The purpose of the study was to give a thorough understanding of the applications' use and the implications for patients and healthcare practitioners. This included a detailed investigation of the several infrastructures and technologies at play, along with an analysis of the data these applications produced. Informing and directing the creation of upcoming healthcare-related smart city projects was the ultimate objective. We interviewed ten medical professionals to explore how artificial intelligence and database management can contribute to the creation of intelligent healthcare management cities. Efficient and intelligent monitoring of healthcare services is essential for providing better treatment to communities in response to the growing demand for automated, remote, and real-time healthcare services. Real-time data management is critical to meeting the demand for high-quality healthcare. However, it is crucial to develop a framework or approach for real-time data management with the help of Artificial Intelligence. To achieve this goal, we recommend real-time database management with AI assistance. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023. |
