Abstract The world's top nations are working to find solutions to the complicated, multidimensional, and largescale challenge of building smart cities. Control over critical aspects of the city's life cycle through computer technology and the ability to make wise operational decisions in an emergency are the two biggest benefits of a smart city. The digital transformation of healthcare, or the development of computerized clinics, communications, and intelligent systems for health monitoring and enhancing the quality of life of diverse population groups, is one of the main goals of creating a smart city. While IoT can improve human health, developing effective and safe data gathering methods for IoT healthcare monitoring systems still raises a number of restricting problems. © 2024, IGI Global.
