Abstract In this research endeavor, we introduce an innovative project aimed at revolutionizing street lighting systems through cutting-edge advancements in electronics. Our primary objective is to create an efficient and sustainable lighting ecosystem by harnessing solar energy and cloud services to illuminate community streets. At the core of our system are PIR (Passive Infrared) and LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensors. These advanced sensors play a crucial role in detecting ambient lighting conditions and human motion, enabling real-time and autonomous decision-making. The ESP32 microcontroller, known for its computational capabilities, manages the coordination of these sensors, triggering responsive actions that enhance street safety and security during nighttime. One of the key aspects of our innovation is the seamless integration of cloud services. This integration allows us to unify our intelligent lighting infrastructure into a cohesive and scalable network. Our cloud-based architecture provides unmatched flexibility and manageability, enabling stakeholders to remotely control the system, monitor energy consumption, and proactively address any irregularities with great efficiency. Our research focuses on the synergy between photovoltaic advancements and cloud computing, promoting sustainable practices while improving urban living standards. Our findings promise a brighter and safer future and contribute to a greener and cleaner world. In conclusion, it offers a sophisticated, environmentally conscious, and resource-efficient solution with profound implications for smart cities and sustainable urban development. This paper provides a promising glimpse into the future of urban illumination. © 2023 IEEE.
