Abstract With the demand of users getting enormous nowadays, the utilization of high-end resources, paves the way for the exploration of advanced technologies/mechanisms to meet the user's requirements. IoT technology plays an intermediary role between the users and devices, which connects to it. While considering the development of smart cities, IoT sensors play a significant role in their growth, and those devices are deployed and connected. IoT connectivity helps the humans to use for their utility with one another, and individual needs as we know IoT devices utilization keeps on increasing enormously. Cognitive offer effective communication and smart thinking of ability by training the learning datasets available so far. The intelligent is materialized through learning human activities, i.e., voice, social media, etc. along with IoT sensors. The cognitive approach with IoT provides connectivity to everyone and everything as we know IoT connected devices keeps increasing rapidly. When IoT gets integrated with cognitive technology, performance is improved, and smart intelligence is obtained. Different types of datasets with structured content are discussed based on cognitive systems. IoT gathers the information from the real-time datasets through the internet, where IoT network connects with the multiple numbers of devices. © 2021 Scrivener Publishing LLC.
