Abstract The main aim of this study is to clarify how destinations should be developed to offer a more natural and unobstructed environment where digital nomads can attain comfort, security, and tranquility. Several studies show how smart cities or tourism attractions affect traveler behavior. Nonetheless, there is a dearth of study examining the impact of digital nomadism on tourism destinations as a whole, especially with the benefits and challenges it entails. Consequently, the study does a conceptual analysis, rigorously evaluating relevant resources and interacting with the area of tourism. This study utilized a hermeneutic methodology to examine the available literature, providing varied views that enrich the present understanding of the topic. Lastly, it is discovered that visitors' objectives to enjoy their work while on the go are not substantially impacted by the use and adjustment of these technologies. © 2025 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
