Abstract Internet of things (IoT) is becoming remarkable automation, a connectivity between the objects ("things") and the back-end systems via the Internet. IoT provides distinct functions in discrete fields like smart city, traffic control, waste management, surveillance and security, industry sector and medical sector [3].Medicinal system has examined a demand for smart machines and gadgets to reduce the incompetency of the medical management available.IoT sensors embedded in hospitals has enhanced technology and eliminated traditional healthcare and the whole medical system. A survey was conducted through questionnaires where the respondents gave a positive reaction towards the smart healthcare system. This paper will give a glimpse of the applications of IoT served in the healthcare system. © 2019 IEEE.
