Abstract The Drainage Control and Water Monitoring System is a comprehensive solution designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of urban water management. In the pursuit of developing smart cities, a critical aspect is the effective monitoring and control of drainage systems. This project addresses the need for a robust infrastructure by implementing advanced technology to detect, maintain, and manage underground drainage systems. Key features include real-time water quality monitoring, early detection of leaks and bursts in the distribution network, and efficient management of underground infrastructure. The system incorporates safety measures for workers, assessing environmental conditions such as gas presence and temperature suitability. By focusing on these aspects, the project aims to contribute to creating sustainable and resilient cities, ensuring the provision of clean and safe water while minimizing environmental impact. © 2024 IEEE.
