Abstract The transportation issues in Jakarta remain a topic of ongoing discussion year after year. Challenges such as traffic congestion, inadequate public transportation modes, and the lack of integration between public transport modes hinder human mobility from one point to another. To improve the comfort and efficiency of mobility, a comprehensive smart mobility concept is needed. Several technologies suitable for building this smart mobility concept include computer vision, the Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning. Computer vision can be used for location density monitoring using cameras. Density monitoring can also utilize IoT devices such as sound sensors, where high decibel levels indicate density at a location. Machine learning is used to explore all possible routes from the starting point to the destination of one's mobility. The computational results from computer vision and IoT produce a delay time parameter, which reflects obstacles or density at a point. This delay time value is then combined with the results of all possible route searches to get the fastest route recommendations, as the shortest route is not always the fastest if there is congestion at certain points. We also design the concept of 'One Click One Pay.' The planned system uses a mobile platform that allows users to book all public transport modes on the recommended or user-selected route with one click, and payment is made cumulatively. Ultimately, this smart mobility concept is expected to facilitate a person's mobility to their destination for personal, business, or tourist purposes more easily and efficiently. © 2024 IEEE.
