Abstract Smart cities and medical IoT were implemented via large-scale IoT end device implementation. Develop a smart city/medical IoT communication paradigm combining IoT and mobile ad-hoc platforms. The increased use of IoT devices in intelligent settings has caused QoS and safety challenges. The suggested Secure and Smart Extenuation Approach to Leverage Protection against Cooperative assaults (SECURE-SEAL) assesses causes of disruption in the IoT ecosystem caused by cooperative assaults at edge nodes. In the IoT network, coordinated attacks include several nodes collaborating to carry out an attack. The current action strategy against coordinated assaults is not very specific. Fuzzy logic is used to provide a trustworthy environment for reducing security threats in intelligent cities and medical IoT. A trustworthy environment quickly identifies adversaries and prevents combined assaults. Network calculations may be provided by nearby edge servers in edge computing. In this way, the time to contact the cloud server may be reduced. Easy SEAL is a fuzzy-based strategy to prevent and remove rogue nodes within the IoT ecosystem. The discovered nodes will be re-examined to validate their assaulting nature. The recommended genuine environment has been shown to operate successfully in malicious environments. The proposed work has a great success in minimizing coordinated attacks (almost 90%). © 2024 IEEE.
