Abstract With the continuous improvement of the demand for intelligent transportation, the integration of urban transportation with network and information continues to deepen, and urban transportation is constantly combined with artificial intelligence. The digitalization of urban traffic and the intelligence of smart urban traffic will change the existing production methods. The digitalization and intelligence of urban transportation is the development trend of future smart urban transportation. Digital twin technology based on double differential is an important way to realize the digitization and intelligence of smart city transportation system facilities. The in-depth application of digital twin technology in smart city transportation can evaluate whether urban transportation construction is reasonable, and it can make overall planning of urban transportation construction plan. Based on the virtual model simulation and verification of the smart city traffic data interaction and operation of the physical system, precise real-time control of the smart city traffic construction process is carried out. A virtual digital urban rail transit and urban expressway operation system established by smart urban transportation based on double differential digital twin technology. © 2023 IEEE.
