Abstract The mingling of various edge based models of the Internet of Things (IoT) proposes a fanatical methodology for criminal activity deduction along with public safety. This article investigates the creation and deployment of an edge computing-based, Internet of Things-based framework designed to transfer real-time crime spot threats. The suggested system uses a grids of interlinked resources and devices to gather and analyzing provincial data, reducing latency and improving alert system timeliness. Edge computing certify data analysis at the group site, enabling immediate recognition of questionable behaviour and well timely reporting to the legal authorities. Our system's architecture illustrates consistence performance all over while nurturing end-to-end data encryption & data protection measures. This innovative approach to deployment of IoT networks and enabled sensors establishes intelligent urban security which would enhance more secure environments. © 2024 IEEE.
