Abstract As application services utilizing replication of virtual space expand in industrial technology areas such as energy, smart cities, manufacturing, and the environment, interest in digital twins is increasing day by day. The evolution of digital twin was classified into stages according to factors such as autonomy, federation. Recently, a method of classifying the degree of evolution according to the technical implementation layer was proposed. In this paper, we introduce a test bed of digital twin that composed of renewable energy sources linked to the power grid according to the layered implementation approach. The test bed is performing real-time monitoring and analysis through linkage with the weather environment, and aims to evolve to a higher level in the future. © 2024 IEEE.
