Abstract An earthquake disaster is a disaster that is unpredictable and very detrimental to the community and government, but the damage caused by this disaster can be minimized. Several kinds of research have been carried out with a variety of tools and methods, from various studies that have been carried out both in earthquake simulations and even in earthquake early warning systems, this research uses a very cheap and easy to use tool with a warning system that provides information to a web that is always monitored by disaster officials. The results of this tool can make a sound when an earthquake occurs, this tool is an effort to reduce the impact of an earthquake event in an area. With this tool as earthquake mitigation based on the internet of things as a form of smart city development. © 2023 Author(s).
