Abstract This work reports a single-port and two-port narrowband (60.0GHz)-antenna with an elliptical patch for microwave access printed on the top plane and ground on the opposite side of the substrate. The single port offers an impedance bandwidth of 59.57GHz-61.66GHz and for two-port 59.03GHz-61.30GHz. The EM wave antenna technology designed narrowband millimeter-Wave antenna occupies a compact area of 128 mm2 with resonance frequency offering impedance of (60.82-j11.95). The 2-D radiation patterns with Electromagnetic energy are well-suitable for wide-area applications with a gain of 8.52dBi at 60.03GHz and are useful for smart-city indoor IoT infrastructure. The diversity performance corresponds to ECCAnt.M-Ant.S<0.0005, DGAnt.M-Ant.S<9.9995dB, TARCAnt.M-Ant.<<-5.0dB and CCLAnt.M-Ant.S<<0.05b/s/Hz. © 2023 IEEE.
