| Abstract | The Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, has brought about a significant transformation in the way businesses operate. With the rise of connected devices and the internet of things (IoT), the digital economy has become more complex and dynamic. This chapter explores the transformative impact of IoT technologies in the era of Industry 4.0 digital economy, and how these technologies are unlocking new potentials for businesses across various sectors. This chapter begins with an overview of Industry 4.0 and the key characteristics that define this era. It then delves into the role of IoT technologies in Industry 4.0, and how they are changing the way businesses operate, from manufacturing to logistics and supply chain management.
