Abstract This research proposes a digital twin system based on ESG principles to improve organizational performance in planning and support services. The system integrates environmental, social, and governance factors for real-time data collection on CO2 emissions and workplace safety. It offers efficient and accurate ESG performance measurement with seamless visualization across various devices. The implemented system demonstrates reliable data transmission with minimal packet loss. The successful application within a controlled environment highlights its potential for real-world use in smart cities. Future research could explore broader integration and user experience in large-scale deployments. This paves the way for utilizing digital twin technology for sustainable and socially responsible urban development. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2025.
