It’s wonderful to see the government promote EV use, while private entrepreneurs are creating novel models customized to India’s specific roads and traffic patterns. Global EV sales climbed by a staggering 40% in the first half of 2023 alone, indicating a rising preference for greener means of travel. According to analysts, the automotive industry will experience a dramatic transformation when EV sales reach 35–40% of worldwide new car sales by 2030. By embracing innovation while upholding sustainability and inclusion ideals, the automotive sector can lead the path for a brighter, more efficient, and sustainable future driven by electric cars. Despite the advantages, several operational challenges need to be addressed before electric vehicle adoption becomes widespread.
