Abstract WSN is a most popular network known to be one of the main problems for EC (energy consumption). Several commercial industrial automation procedure and other real-life uses, WS (Wireless sensor) technology has an important role to play. Wireless technologies have emerged as a solution for message in smart city activities, including Bluetooth, WiMax, 4G, LTE, and WiFi. However, as the majority of them use unlicensed distortion, difficulties with existence and bands are getting worse. IoT (internet of things) is therefore employed in smart cities to address the issue. This article identifies the existing problems of both RA (resource allocation) and RP (routing protocol) for IoT networks based on optimization and scheduling methods. A review of some routing protocols which are considering safety calculations and enhance the network parameters. Resource allocation methods have described the queue-based optimization method for choosing a better path for further routes based on several constraints that enhance the RDM (route discovering mechanism). © 2023 IEEE.
