In the world, many countries have explored the development of smart city in many aspects. From the perspective of energy, urban Energy Internet is an important part of smart city, which is the core to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of smart city. This paper selects four cities as the typical urban Energy Internet demonstrations to study the construction status from the perspectives of background, overall design, and analysis of construction effects. The four cities are Kashiwa-no-ha in Japan, Amsterdam in Netherlands, Jiaxing and Suzhou in China. We propose three differences (concept and goal, development mode, funding mode) in urban Energy Internet at home and abroad. Based on the differences, we put forward five development measures for the future demonstration of urban Energy Internet in China. © 2021 IEEE. |
