Abstract	It is everywhere, in the field of health, education, in traffic management and even in-home automation, today a lot of people use it but, in a few years, it will be essential, we talk about the internet of things, which is invading our cities to make them more connected, and intelligent. But, this change will rely on extracted values, information, and visions from the big data generated by our cities via sensors, applications, devices, and people. In order to overcome this problem, it is essential to create a Big Data modeling approach for smart cities, which pays particular attention to the creation of multiple layers, among these layers we find Management and Processing layer which contains tree levels: processing, analyzing and storing, in this paper we are interested by the processing level which attracts the attention of researchers, we will try to propose a big data processing design for smart city, which will make good use of the collected data by adding a data modeling approach that treats both the transmission and the processing data, the others levels will be processed in other papers. © 2018 IEEE.
