Abstract	The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) is driving innovation in various sectors, such as healthcare, smart cities, agriculture, and manufacturing. This paper provides a comprehensive survey of the applications, challenges, and future trends, associated with AI- IoT integration. We explore how AI improves the functionality and efficiency of IoT devices in different fields, allowing real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and automated decision-making. Moreover, we address key challenges, such as data privacy, Interoperability, scalability, and real-time processing, which limit the widespread adoption of AI- IoT systems. Additionally, we highlight emerging research topics and future trends, such as AI-driven security automation, blockchain for secure IoT, and quantum-resistant security protocols, which aim to overcome these challenges and shape the future of AI- IoT ecosystems. This survey provides an overview of the current state of AI- IoT integration and offers a roadmap for future research and development. © 2024 IEEE.
