| Abstract |
A good analysis of population mobility of urban city could not only help the development of transportation, but also assist the construction of power systems. This paper presents an urban population mobility analysis method, which consists of three main parts. Firstly, the k-means clustering method is used to explore the 24-hour population mobility curves. Then, the index Pearson Correlation Coefficient is used to identify the population type of certain blocks. Finally, using a Vector Autoregression method, the dynamic population mobility model is established to forecast the future population distribution. This analysis method is evaluated under statistical mobile phone location data from China Mobile to give suggestions to smart cities. © 2021 IEEE. |
