Abstract The notion of a "smart city"has been adopted by many communities across the globe. More and more cities around the world are taking the necessary steps to transform themselves into "smart cities,"and Indonesia is no exception. The purpose of this paper is to serve as a reference and benchmark for other cities in Indonesia as they build smart city concepts by comparing the execution of smart city application functionalities in Dubai and Jakarta. Using secondary data with the content analysis method to analyze. Comparing the two cities, the features of the Dubai Smart City mobile application have more varied and categorized features. © 2023 IEEE.
