Abstract The demand for efficient healthcare services is rising as urbanization grow in smart cities. The patient data security and privacy maintenance remains a significant challenge in smart cities. This research develops a healthcare smart cities infrastructure using decision trees to tackles a issue on privacy. The patient data vulnerability to unauthorized access and breaches in healthcare systems maintains a lacks of a balance between accuracy and privacy protection. The privacy preservation with decision tree creates a robust framework. Extensive validation has shown the proposed infrastructure in protecting and ensuring healthcare decision-making. This research provides a solution for managing effectively the patient data in healthcare systems. © 2024 IEEE.
