The results of an extensive literature review of the term Virtual museum—the keywords used to identify research relevant to the study were Smart Heritage, Smart Cities, 3D Digitization Methodologies for Cultural Heritage, 3-D Data Post-processing, Cultural Heritage Fruition, Photogrammetry, Laser scanning Maritime cultural heritage 3D modeling, Reverse engineering. The analysis used various databases, including ScienceDirect-Elsevier, SpringerLink, JSTOR, Emerald, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, Willey, Taylor & Francis, and Google Scholar. As a part of Google's trends, we can determine the number of reviews, categories, and types of searches where keywords were used. In addition, cross-reference methods were used to find relevant research related to the topic. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024. |
