Abstract This study presents an integrated network of a smart campus design for a Sultanate of Oman higher education institution. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of networked devices that can gather and send data without the intervention of humans. IoT is employed in many different fields these days, such as industry, agriculture, medicine, smart cities, etc. This paper discusses smart campuses, which include smart gardens that sprinkle water based on water levels, smart classrooms that monitor temperature in response to surroundings, and smart grids that use solar energy to transfer electricity to power meters that help light bulbs and charge batteries. To provide top-notch resources to teachers, staff, and students on campus, smart campuses are contemporary urban concepts. The global perception of smart campuses is still limited despite the high-tech, rational, and controllable obstacles. The primary aim of this study is to present a novel idea known as the 'Modern Smart Campus.' This will streamline operations and contribute to a sustainable future.
