Abstract The new fifth generation of mobile networks (5G) will change how we talk and use technology. The use of 5G technology is thought to deeply affect the area of electronics engineering. This paper wants to look at how 5G affects electronics engineering. It'll explore the benefits and difficulties that it brings. The talk talks about the technical parts of 5G. This includes its setup, different bands it uses and how it sends messages. It also looks at how 5G could be used in areas like smart cities, healthcare and transport. The article also looks at the problems that electronics engineers have when using 5G. This includes new hardware, software and testing techniques needed. Plus it talks about how much electricity is used with 5G and if there's a lot of radiation around because of it. This study shows that 5G technology has a big chance for engineers to create new ideas in electronics. These ideas can change many kinds of businesses. © 2023 IEEE.
