Abstract	The Internet of Things is a topic of great interest for researchers, developers and consumers alike as predictions of smart cities and smart buildings and other IoT empowered ideas arise. Yet the emergence of such IoT devices is pushed back in the market owing to incompatible proprietary products. The products made offer exciting and useful services, but most often they are closed tailor-made one-off systems or silos. This paper explores the issue of interoperability in IoT devices by proposing a system to test interoperability of IoT devices and offer this system as a service that can be deployed in a cloud environment. © 2021 IEEE.
