Abstract The training Course under project 'City Data Planner (CDP)' aimed to facilitate the change of sustainable smart city development. The local governance organization over 70 municipalities around Thailand were involved in the project. Knowledge and comprehension of city data is required to construct smart cities in multiple aspects. The utilization of information and technology to drive local government organizations has the potential to create a viable smart city.
