Abstract	IoT retains its popularity, and the application of IoT is widened to many aspects such as the smart home application, smart city application, health care, and many more. As the application gets widen, the issues and challenges of the IoT in regards to the security and privacy perspective are also gaining a big concern. To solve the issues, it is important to know which layers the attacks occur and their impact. Thus, describing the architecture of the Internet of Things(IoT), the comprehensive study of identified attacks and their approaches suggested on collected research, and analyzing the results of the IoT attack with the correlation of the architecture level and the power of the attack toward the IoT devices. © 2021 IEEE.
