Abstract Smart cities retrofit technology, processes and digital systems into the environment to provide a sustainable future to the citizens. Digital service platform shapes digital public services through feedback and engagement. Citizen satisfied feedback plays a vital role in evaluation rather than municipal evaluations and data metrics. Feedback with innovation and engagement builds a better customized liveable and sustainable environment. People centered smart cities meet up to the realities and aspirations of the citizens. Inspite of economic degradation due to COVID, cities serve as drivers for the prosperity of the nation. This paper delves into the Smart City Feedback App-a dynamic mobile application built using the Flutter framework. The primary goal of this app is to create a robust avenue for bolstering community involvement and participation in the realm of smart city development. By functioning as a conduit connecting local officials with residents, the app provides an interactive platform for citizens to share their insights, cultivate ideas, and collaboratively shape their future. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere, the app strives to cultivate an inclusive approach for predictive maintenance, decision-making, sustainable growth and forward-thinking trajectory. This paper conducts a comprehensive exploration of the app’s multifaceted features, potential advantages, and the pragmatic challenges encountered during its implementation. Moreover, it explores on the pivotal role played by technical innovations and citizen engagement in the context of smart city initiatives. By fusing technology and community interaction, the app stands as a testament to the transformative power of collaboration in driving progressive urban development with augmented privacy. Challenge lies in collecting the data, processing the data, and presenting the data in the required format to the concerned authorities. Real-time data is accessed for effective environmental, social and economic benefits. © 2025 Scrivener Publishing LLC.
