Domestic violence is a pervasive issue that requires innovative solutions for effective intervention and prevention. This paper presents 'Salve Elas,' a comprehensive and reallife mobile application designed to combat domestic violence within the context of smart cities. By leveraging advanced IT infrastructure and real-time data integration, Salve Elas offers features such as emergency alerts, hidden functionalities, and access to support services. The app aims to enhance safety and provide timely assistance to victims, improving urban life quality. Initial deployments in Brazilian smart cities demonstrate the app's potential to reduce response times and increase user engagement. This paper discusses the development, deployment, and impact of Salve Elas, offering insights into its effectiveness and future directions for enhancing its capabilities. |
