In recent years, with the rapid development of the times, the development of computer, mapping, aerospace and other disciplines and technologies have made the development of Remote Sensing (RS) technology and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology very promising, This paper uses VOSviewer software to create a co-occurrence cascade of keywords in RS and GIS-related literature over the past decade, and introduces the application patterns of RS and GIS technologies in traditional research on vegetation, hydrology, geological hazards, as well as in smart cities and sustainable development, related data acquisition satellites and specific application examples in recent years. The limitations of RS and GIS technology development are discussed, such as extreme weather, accuracy of image acquisition, image processing, development of related disciplines, etc., are discussed, as well as the prospect of RS and GIS technology integration with social technology in the future to combine with social technologies, more closely with artificial intelligence, computers, big data and other technical disciplines, closer to the needs of society. And the future use of RS and GIS technology in a large numbers of research methods and related technologies are selected according to the content of the study, and the existing problems are continuously improved and developed in a comprehensive and systematic manner in the future. The former study provides some research ideas for the general scholars through a comprehensive introduction of RS and GIS technologies at the application level. © 2024 IEEE. |
