Abstract This study focuses on the application of knowledge graph technology in urban management decision support systems, particularly through an urban green space distribution optimization project. It demonstrates how knowledge graphs can enhance urban planning and management. By constructing and applying knowledge graphs, this study effectively integrates urban green space information from multiple data sources, providing data support and insights for optimizing urban green space layout. The study reveals that optimizing urban green space distribution increases green space area and improves resident satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of optimizing urban green space for enhancing resident quality of life and sustainable urban development. The article also discusses research limitations and proposes future directions, including diversifying data sources and deepening research methods, to improve urban green space planning and management accuracy and effectiveness. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
