Abstract The Integrated Sensing and Communication(ISAC)belongs to the hot research area of 5. 5G,6G and Wi-Fi. Meanwhile the Internet of Things(IoT),Vehicle to Everything(V2X)and Internet of Vehicles(IoV)technologies are de⁃ veloping vigorously. As a typical application scenario of ISAC,IoV and Advanced Driving Assistance System(ADAS)re⁃ quire in-depth research on relevant key technologies to promote the development of Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) and smart city. First,the research background and application scenarios of ISAC IoV is introduced. Then,the recent rel⁃ evant researches on the ISAC IoV at home and abroad are sorted out,the network architecture,waveform design,interfer⁃ ence and resource management,beam management,hardware design and verification are summarized. Finally,the future research trends and related technical challenges in the field of ISAC IoV is prospected,and three research directions of ISAC IoV basic research,IoV dedicated integrated waveform design,and Integrated Sensing,Communication and Com⁃ puting(ISACC)of IoV are proposed,and the full text is summarized. © 2023 Editorial Board of Journal of Signal Processing.
